BBC The Traitors winner Leanne Quigley says she still hasn’t received prize money
Leanne Quigley, a fellow contestant, and Jake Brown, the other contestant, won the second half of the £94,600 cash prize, making her the latest celebrity to win the BBC show. However, the 28-year-old has revealed that she’s yet to receive the money despite filming the show eight months ago.
Leanne and Jake made it to the last roundtable on Friday, joining Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Alexander Dragonetti, and Charlotte Berman, the last remaining traitor, in a dramatic finale. Before the game was over, the group decided to banish Alexander and Francesca while banging her on at the roundtable, which meant that all other players were present.
Leanne was asked if she had received the money when she and hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley appeared on This Morning on Monday to discuss her victory. Has the show’s schedule already begun, Ben said, “You have to wait until it airs before you get your winnings”? Leanne replied: “No, not yet. No”.
As for what she plans to spend the £47, 300 on, Leanne said: “I mentioned that I would love to have another baby, I’d love to try for IVF again and give my little boys a sibling.
” Also, We have a wedding to plan now. I got engaged back in August, which is just the best feeling. ]My boys] are just amazing and they’re warriors and they don’t even know it. “
We have got wedding planning to do, Leanne previously revealed. She previously talked about cutting the cost of her six-year marriage to Sophie. We have just started. We haven’t set a date yet but yeah we can get a wedding going. “
Hudson and Harley, both of whom were born prematurely in January of 2023, are related to the couple. Leanne stated on her Instagram account at the time that their delivery was three and a half months early, calling it the “scariest” day of her life.
We discussed whether to share our news, but our babies are fighting and they deserve all the love and support they can get, she wrote. “They are the most precious, beautiful, and tiny babies I have ever seen in my life, and I’m so proud of how much they are fighting every single day.
After winning the show, Leanne revealed that being a Faithful made her realise that she couldn’t be a Traitor”. I realised I could never be a Traitor. My heart just couldn’t take it, “she told The Mirror.
This Morning airs week days at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
