Traitors fans are perched on the edge of their seats, itching to discover who will clinch victory in this year’s gripping series – will it be the cunning Traitors or the devout Faithfuls?
Last year set the stage with a jaw-dropping finale that’s hard to top. Remember how Harry Clark duped his mate Mollie Pearce, swiping the fat cash prize right from under her nose?
Poor Mollie wasn’t the only victim of Harry’s deceit; even his fellow schemer Paul Gorton was stabbed in the back as Harry pushed him out in episode eight. Team allegiances didn’t matter to Harry when he dropped his bombshell: “Like you said, I’ve tossed and turned as to why I’m still here, people round this table know I’d walk through fire to win a mission, and another reason is I’m really close with someone. So I’ve got to go with yourself too Paul. “
And just like that, Paul was booted from the competition. As the Traitors fever spreads worldwide, with international formats and even celebrity antics coming to BBC One, whispers of an All-Star smackdown with legends of the game might soon become reality. Chuffed by the idea, Paul spilled to the Daily Star: “I’m such an ambassador for the show and I would do anything for the show. “
He couldn’t contain his excitement, adding: “Sign me up straight away and get Harry back in because I need some revenge on him. ” Throwing down the gauntlet, Paul declared his eagerness to one-up Harry by participating in shows Harry has been on, especially given Harry’s reported involvement in the upcoming ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ set to hit Channel 4 screens this Autumn.
Expressing his competitive streak, Paul couldn’t resist saying: “Well Harry’s done Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, I’d love to do that show and go and see if I can get further than him. ” As founding Traitors on their show, with host Claudia Winkleman initially selecting them, both Paul and Harry were instrumental in the banishment of former allies Ash and Miles.

Now fans are eagerly anticipating Friday’s finale to see who will grab the sizable prize pot and whether anyone can outdo Harry’s shocking backstabbery.
Earlier this week, Jaz Singh revealed the reason why contestants on The Traitors aren’t tempted to let slip the results of the show ahead of the final, explaining that they can face financial repercussions if they spoil it. Speaking to The Sun he revealed: “You have to get a ton of stuff prepared, how you’re going to deliver this information to various family members to keep this a secret, because you’re under an NDA, and they will sue you for hundreds of thousands of pounds of TV damages if this gets leaked. “
