BBC stars in secret ‘feud’ and haven’t co-hosted their show in months

Today is hosted by Nick Robinson and Emma Barnett, who are alleged to have had a personality conflict, but they haven’t produced an episode together in three months.
According to reports, two BBC stars have been avoiding one another because of a “clash of egos.”
The Today program’s presenters are veteran broadcaster Nick Robinson and former Women’s Hour host Emma Barnett, according to BBC Radio Four fans. The duo haven’t been on the air at the same time in three months because of rumors that they have gotten frustrated with their different presentation styles.
According to reports, there is growing “tension” between the two, and it has been reported that they haven’t co-hosted a Today show episode in 90 days. Additionally, it has been noted that the pair only co-hosted the show once, having only shared 13 episodes.
Nick’s strict presentation style and approach are said to be the source of the tension between the pair. A source says, “Nick can be quite blunt about his opinions of the program. Because it’s friendly, Barnett and Amol are paired with each other every time they are on.

The source continued to The Sun: “Emma and Nick are going to have to appear together again at some point because they are a team.” The Mirror has contacted representatives of Emma, Nick and the BBC for comment.
Emma became a host of Women’s Hour in 2021 but abruptly quit the show last year, landing a seat on the panel of the Today show. She announced the news online, writing via Instagram: “Deep breath: Some work news… I am leaving the mighty mothership @bbcwomanshour and joining the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 and making more TV shows with my big interviews and some new documentaries across the BBC.
The BBC just published some of my thoughts, and I have to say that more will come soon. Even asking a question can seem risky in a volatile world, which is incorrect. With a very strong cup of tea and the desire to continue asking the questions that listeners want answers on the @bbctodayprogramme, I want to keep doing this.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of a program that occupies such a special place in British life, and I’m also blessed with the opportunity to expand my work across BBC TV and news.” On May 15, 2024, she first presented Today.
Meanwhile, Nick has been hosting the Today show since 2015 – and also spent ten years as political editor for BBC News. The other current hosts of the show are Justin Webb, Amol Rajan and Anna Foster. Mishal Husain recently quit the show – which has been on the air since 1957 – and is set to be replaced by Anna Foster. Anna is due to join the show next month.
