Barca’s Fernandez joins Everton until end of season

Martina Fernandez has been signed on loan at Everton until the end of the season.

After Kelly Gago arrived in France for the first time in the January transfer window, the 20-year-old becomes the club’s second signing.

The Spain Under-23s international was part of the Barcelona squad that won last season’s Women’s Champions League.

“I am so excited to be here and I cannot wait to play”, Fernandez told Everton’s official club channel.

I can’t wait to meet Everton because they are a historic club and the fans are very supportive.
