Bala Mohammed Using Attack On Tinubu To Launch Presidential Campaign — Minister
Yusuf Tuggar, the minister of foreign affairs, claimed that Bauchi State governor Bala Mohammed is slammed for his 2027 presidential ambitions by the minister of foreign affairs.
The Minister made this claim on Sunday during his appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics program.
According to him, his criticism of President Tinubu showed that he had no sincere intention of speaking out against the governor of Bauchi State.
On the program, Tugar remarked, “Governor Bala Mohammed demonstrated clearly that he does not have any sincerity of purpose.”
Bala Mohammed used the tax bill as a platform to launch his presidential campaign very early on the day, not that other governors did not attempt to interrogate it when it was presented, which is a good thing as a matter of fact because Nigerians get the best out of it.
He had the most severe insults directed at the president and the administration, according to his comments.
Following his criticism of the president on the tax reform bills, the Minister claimed that Governor Mohammed has been attempting to find an audience with Tinubu.

The governor of Bauchi State urged President Tinubu to backtrack on the tax policy changes because it could lead to anarchy during a speech to a Christian community on Boxing Day in Bauchi.
He claims that the governors won’t be able to pay their salaries because of the policy.
He warned that if these policies continued, the northern region would” show its true colours “in response.
The governor was the governor’s representative, but the presidency reacted and said it was a threat to the president. It said Mohammed’s view does not reflect the view of the entire north.
Meanwhile, Nigerian governors, on January 16, declared support for the Federal Government’s tax reform bills. However, they proposed a new sharing formula for value-added tax (VAT).
The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and the Presidential Tax Reform Committee convened to make their decision.
