Armie Hammer in career U-turn as he lands first role after ‘cannibalism’ scandal
After three years, Armie Hammer will resume acting.
When the former Hollywood star was accused of violent abuse and was involved in a cannibalism scandal, his career abruptly came to an abrupt halt. Armie, 38, has always strongly denied the allegations. He was cleared of the allegations following a Los Angeles Police Department investigation in 2023.
He’s now set to take on Uwe Boll’s new role, which is set to debut in Croatia later this month. Armie will appear in Boll’s The Dark Knight, which isn’t linked to the 2008 Christopher Nolan Batman movie. His character, Sanders, is a man who “takes justice into his own hands as he sets out to hunt down criminals”.
In the end, Sanders is viewed as a hero by local law enforcement and on social media, but they eventually make an attempt to arrest him because they think he’s a threat to society. Speaking of the film, Boll said: “The story of The Dark Knight couldn’t be a more current topic, and I’m excited to bring it to life with this excellent cast”.
Meanwhile, executive producer, Michael Roesch went on to state that the movie is “very different from Chris Nolan’s movie, so there is no danger of confusion”. With Armie Hammer in the lead role and more outstanding actors to be announced soon, and an outstanding script, we are eager to build on the success of First Shift and Run, and we will soon have another strong film.
He was last seen on screen in the 2019-made Death on the Nile movie in 2022. During an appearance on the presenter’s YouTube show, Piers Morgan made an investigation into the cannibal allegations against Hammer over the summer. He declared: “You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten somebody”.
Hammer continued to confirm without a doubt that he had never eaten anyone. The actor claimed that the accusations stemmed from agreed-up sexual acts and role-play in the exchange on “Piers Morgan Uncensored.” However, he did admit to marking former girlfriend Paige Lorenze with a knife, but sturdy on the assertion that there “wasn’t even blood”.
Referring to Paige’s allegation back in 2021 that while they dated for four months in 2020, he used a knife to etch an ‘ A ‘ close to her private parts, he said: “I wouldn’t say brand, no. There was a scenario that we talked about beforehand, that we had discussed where, you know, I would basically take a little, tiny point and just kind of trace the letter ‘ A ‘ just like the tip of a small knife.
” I mean, there wasn’t even blood in the situation. It was more like a scrape… It resembles having your own initials tattooed on someone else by a couple.
