Apprentice star Karren Brady left shaken after burglar targets £6m home in series of raids

After a burglar stole valuable designer goods from her £6 million home over the course of 16 hours, Karen Brady has been left shaken. The intruder repeatedly returned to rob the property, leaving the Apprentice star and businesswoman terrified.
Police are now looking into the brazen thefts, which has raised concerns about home security. The Apprentice star has now revealed how devastating a string of break-ins at her £6 million Belgravia home have been for her and her family, leaving her feeling unwell and unable to sleep.
Karren claims that the burglaries, which occurred over the course of 16 hours, have “shattered her sense of security” and made her feel “targeted, watched, and exploited.”
After drug user Gregory Adnane conducted four separate raids on their property in May, the 55-year-old businesswoman, her husband Paul Peschisolido, and their two children were all watching.
While Baroness Brady was away for work, the 41-year-old former chef repeatedly broke into their basement storage area, stealing Amazon gifts, cycling tops, and a £1,700 Prada bag.
Brady described the incident as a “deeply disturbing violation” of her personal space in a victim impact statement read in court. She said, “I’ve felt unsafe in my own home ever since the burglary.” Knowing that a stranger had completely ignored my privacy and entered my personal space, they went through my belongings, and I felt vulnerable and uneasy.
She continued, “I felt secure in my home prior to this crime. That perception has since been destroyed. I feel targeted, watched, and exploited because someone trespassed on my property four times, not once but four times. My way of life has been altered by his repeated targeting of my property. What used to feel like a secure and secure place now feels vulnerable.”
Brady acknowledged that she now feels anxious about having her home alone when she wakes up at the slightest noise. I increased my security, double-locked the doors, set the alarm during the day, and installed security lights at a cost I think.
She also described how the incident has slowed down her daily routine, saying, “I no longer feel comfortable leaving my house for a long time. When we leave or arrive home, my family and I are overly aware of our surroundings and safety, and we frequently become paranoid about the noises or unfamiliar objects that are nearby.
Adnane was given an 18-month suspended sentence, but despite the distress she caused, walked away from Southwark Crown Court.
Brady had urged the court to take into account all the possible psychological effects of the crimes, but Judge David Tomlinson ultimately decided to give Adnane a “last chance,” warning that any violation of his order would “undoubtedly” lead to jail time.
