Laura Woods and Adam Collard’s first child, Laura, have a sweet name together, and Adam Collard chose their first picture.
Since October 2023, the couple has been a fixture, and they recently announced that they are planning to become parents together. A wedding is also on the horizon. On Saturday, Love Island star Adam and sports presenter Laura shared the news of their baby’s arrival. He posted a number of sweet hospital photos to Instagram.
A black and white image of their son in a hospital bed was captured by Adam holding his baby boy’s hand. In another photo, Laura captured their bundle of joy, and the new parents were seen welcoming their child home for the first time. Adam and Laura revealed the name they have chosen as they said: “Leo Ernie Collard, our boy”.
Leo met his dog for the first time at home, and the new parents also shared pictures of him. The sports host shared photos and video clips of the moment Adam asked Laura to be his wife in September, shocking the media with their engagement announcement.

Sharing her collection of images on Instagram, she wrote at the time: “And just like that … You make me happy. Thank you for making our relationship so special, both in the places we fell in love with and the places we now call home. What a summer”. Adam also shared his excitement over becoming a husband, posting: “From dates &, daiquiri’s to a Fiancé &, a sprog on the way, our very own little team. My whole world. Always”.
Two months after the couple revealed they were expecting a child together, the couple engaged. In a July Instagram post with an ultrasound of her baby and her French bulldog gazing up at her, Laura announced the heartwarming news. She captioned the image with the simple words: “Hey, baby”.
Fans were surprised to see Adam’s romance with Laura after his unsuccessful attempts to find love on various reality television programs. He made two appearances on ITV’s Love Island and attempted to find a girlfriend on Celebs Go Dating on E4, but their relationship has largely been private.
Earlier this month, Adam labelled 2024 his “hardest year” as he shared his torment in a touching Instagram post. He said: “I’ve seen lot of amazing 2024 posts over the last few days… but if you’re struggling right now, remember that Instagram is a highlights reel, and if you’re struggling you aren’t alone”.
He continued, claiming that the previous year was “tougher than any before.” Adam continued: “Struggled with my mental health more than ever. Lost something important. Struggled with injuries. Despite having an addiction to sleeping pills and painkillers, he defended it by claiming that it didn’t harm fitness or that it wasn’t booze. Got diagnosed with depression. Prescribed anti-depressants. Lost family. Drifted from certain friends. I attempted to contact people, but I was unsuccessful. Felt lost”.
