Staggering amount Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty spent on gifts for their 200 guests

In the midst of the bitter conflict that resulted in the ban of the majority of the Olympian’s family, Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay intended to thank their 200 wedding guests for their “love and support.”

Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty thanked each of their 200 wedding guests for their “love and support” with a £190-a-pop engraved bottle of tequila among other gifts, it is reported.

The generous couple reportedly spent £40,000 on presents alone for friends and family gathered at Bath Abbey on Saturday December 27. It is thought the duo felt indebted to those who attended their nuptials for sustaining them amid the bitter feud which led to most of the Olympian’s family, including mum Caroline, being banned.

Invitees were also given commemorative t-shirts, while each of the three bridesmaid — whom included Adam’s sister Bethany — were handed lavish, personalised gifts, including pots of the award-winning Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream worth each around £79.

According to a source, Holly and Adam lavished each of their guests with a bottle of tequila with their own initials embossed on them. A cute t-shirt was also provided for the couple’s entrance ceremony, which depicts them embracing while they are together in a car and waving in joy.

“The bride and groom really pushed the boat out,” the couple said. They wanted the wedding to be flawless, despite the turbulence that exists behind the scenes. It was, too.

Proud father of the bride Gordon Ramsay told guests he had spent £50,000 on flowers for their big day. In his fiery speech, the TV chef insisted his wife would now be Mum to both newlyweds. According to The Sun, he said: “Tana will be a good mum to them both.”

According to reports, Come Down O Love Divine was a hymn played at the service. Psalm 127, which describes the blessings of children, is thought to be one of the readings, indicating that the couple are eager to start their own family.

However, Gordon made fun of his daughter by talking about their wedding ceremony at Bath Abbey and explaining that Holly could “pick the most beautiful church and choose to cover its stunning windows with white roses.”

It is said Holly — who wore a bridal cape over her wedding dress as she arrived and left the ceremony at Bath Abbey — will be showing the dress off in Vogue magazine, published today. A source added: “Holly has always wanted to do Vogue, so this is a coup for her.”

Singer Jessie J details ‘silver lining’ after ‘tough year’ and breast cancer diagnosis

Jessie J has gained notoriety over her impressive musical career and now has revealed details about her cancer diagnosis.

As she discussed overcoming breast cancer and her hopes for 2026, Jessie J has urged people to “let their worst days define life.”

With a fantastic cover of Frank Sinatra’s song “My Way,” the singer arguably stole the show from BBC2’s “Hootenanny with Jools Holland.”

Despite some setbacks over the past year, she also explained how she lives her way during an interview with host Jools during the program. According to Jessie, “I think a lot of people have been through this.” Although the snake has been in its year (in the Chinese zodiac), we have been shedding and letting go.

“And I think the world needed to kind of be exposed a little bit, hopefully for 2026 to be a year of coming together and more empathy, acting on our instincts, more in the right way.”

She continued, “I’ve got new boobs, big, and I haven’t been well this year.” The positive aspect of the situation is being examined. Although my nipples are looking in different directions, we focus on the positives!

“For context, I did have breast cancer,” I said. Although I’ve been talking about it a lot, I believe it’s important that we do talk about it, whether it’s good or bad. Don’t define your life on your worst days, though, I will caution you.

I’m so blessed that this year has been challenging because of everything. Since I haven’t released an album in eight years, I don’t believe I would have liked it as much as I do. There is always a bright side to this, and I do think we can learn the most about ourselves in the most difficult circumstances. So grab them and learn when they arrive.

Jessica Cornish, a 37-year-old woman who goes by Jessica Cornish, has previously spoken about her early breast cancer diagnosis and the impact it had on her way of life earlier this December.

The mother-of-one announced her diagnosis in June, and a few weeks later, she underwent her first operation. And she hopes that speaking out loudly about the illness rather than hiding behind her.

People constantly say that a friend checked her breasts after talking to her about it, “she continued.” They discovered a lump, which is cancer, but it has already been discovered. I’m in a puddle right now. So, yes, I’ll continue to emphasize how crucial it is.

The singer-songwriter made it known in August that she needed to have another operation before the end of the year, which caused her to postpone her upcoming tour.

The US leg of her tour has been postponed, and her UK and European tour dates have been postponed until April 2026.

After her surgeries, she returned to performing in September, at BBC’s Radio 2 in the Park in Chelmsford. In November she was seen hugging the Princess of Wales at the Royal Variety Performance.

Both women had shared experiences of receiving cancer treatment in the public eye, as she once described it as a “mum to mother” experience.

Graham Norton skewers Donald Trump in brutal swipe minutes into New Year’s Eve show

Will Arnett and Owen Cooper were guests on the Graham Norton New Year’s Eve Show on BBC One, which retrospectively examined the highlights and downfalls of 2025.

TV host Graham Norton took aim at Donald Trump minutes into his New Year’s Eve special last night.

During his review of 2025, the veteran broadcaster was quick to turn his attention to the US President’s visit to the UK to meet the Royal Family. Graham, 62, flashed up a photo of Melania Trump wearing a wide-brimmed purple hat and joked she looked like “a lamp”.

He then quipped that the statement headwear may have been worn to stop her husband from leaning in for a kiss — setting the tone for a night of trademark digs just minutes into The Graham Norton New Year’s Eve Show on BBC One.

The Irish comedian stayed on the side as he joked, “He was welcomed by the King and Queen, who were obviously happy to be photographed with him — Melania, not so much.” Graham remarked, “I’m just a lamp,” as the camera turned back to Melania’s oversized purple hat. Before retorting, “Just ignore me,” while playfully mimicking her accent, she said, “Please ignore me, I’m just a lamp.”

Yet, Graham took the gag further, Express.co.uk reports. He added: “Actually there is a security reason why Melania always wears a hat.. A nice wide brim can literally save her from a fate worse than death”” before footage showed Mr Trump attempting to kiss her on the cheek — only to be blocked by the hat.

Graham looked back at the highlights — and low points — of 2025 on the festive edition of his programme. His savage swipes came minutes into the episode of the BAFTA-winning chat show, pre-recorded ahead of its BBC One and iPlayer broadcast.

Graham and Carey Mulligan, along with Tom Hiddleston, Laura Dern, and Tim Key, sat down on the red sofa to celebrate the new year. Where Love Lives, Alison Limerick’s dance classic, provided the evening’s soundtrack.

The BBC recommissioned the programme for three more series earlier this year. Speaking at the time, the broadcaster said the programme remains one of its biggest entertainment successes, averaging 2.9 million viewers per episode across its most recent run and continuing to pull in huge numbers across social platforms including YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.

Graham, a native of Dublin, Ireland, claimed hosting the program was both a “privilege” and a “pretty pleasure,” implying that the team was already gearing up to welcome more international stars on the sofa.
